NEXT Generation Strength with 36-Ton Toray Carbon

Okuma built the Nemesis on a 36-Ton NEXT Generation Toray Carbon platform. This design increases strength and reduces weight. It also improves recovery speed, which helps anglers launch baits with clean, controlled power. The blank responds instantly, and therefore gives anglers the accuracy they need when casting into challenging surf zones.

Okuma also adds its OPP protective wrap. This wrap shields the blank, boosts durability and delivers a clean, high-end finish. Consequently, each rod performs with consistency even during heavy use.

Fuji Components for Tangle-Free Performance

The Nemesis uses Fuji K-Series Double-Foot Anti-Tangle Guides with Alconite inserts. These guides handle braid with ease and also reduce wind knots during long casts. Even when conditions turn rough, the layout keeps the line flowing smoothly, which allows anglers to focus on technique instead of dealing with tangles.

A Fuji DPS reel seat locks the reel firmly in place. It also improves sensitivity, so anglers feel subtle bites while working the surf.

Comfort and Control for Long Sessions

Okuma equips the Nemesis with EVA grips that add comfort and reduce fatigue. The mechanical casting aid offers extra control during powerful casts. In addition, the rounded butt cap increases comfort when fighting big sharks or strong inshore species.

A Model for Every Rock & Surf Application

The Nemesis Series includes eight spinning models and two casting models. Anglers can choose from 12’0” rods rated 2–4oz for lighter scratching techniques, all the way to 15’0” rods rated 6–8oz for serious shark action. Therefore, every rock and surf scenario has a Nemesis that fits perfectly.
